A new concept in horserace betting
Courses, not horses
The Tillard Trophy and Ascot Arbiter / Accumulator are unique new concepts which enable all racecourses, great or small, to compete against each other on equal terms — inter-course competitions.
Follow the Favourites
The basis is very simple. You choose the RACECOURSE at which the most FAVOURITES will win (a favourite is the horse which has the shortest odds i.e. the horse that is most likely to win).
Tillard Trophy Scoring - *Copyright © 2006-2008 R Tillard
| Winning favourites at Evens (or longer 5-2) | W |
Score 10 |
| Winning favourites at Odds-on (shown as 2-5) | O |
Score 8 |
| Joint / co-favourites (if one of them wins) | Jt |
Score 5 |
| If someday a racecourse is CANCELLED (frost, flood) | Award 19 |
The racecourse which scores highest is the winner!
If rarely, a meeting is abandoned, ADD extra to the score so far achieved
after only 2 races run, ADD 10; after 3 races, ADD 8; after 4 races ADD 5.
Example: 15 June 06
